hello!

We are a wife-and-husband team, Brooke St. Sauver and Curt Waller, who have always had a love of bubbles, food, and hospitality. After a trip to Champagne and visits to some lovely bubbly bars across the US, we decided that The Coupe & Flute should be born into this world. We like to call it a “champagne tavern,” to invoke a friendly, neighborhood vibe, and promote the idea that champagne and sparkling wines can be an every day experience.

We developed our food menu to showcase bold flavors utilizing a world pantry, with fun twists on familiar dishes that pair beautifully with a glass of bubbly. And so much bubbly to choose from! We have a rotating list of ten different champagnes and sparkling wines by the glass, several flight options, and an extensive bottle list. And not to be overlooked, our exceptional cocktail program, when that’s your fancy.

In our early years as a couple, we bonded over decorating our Central District home and hosted many a dinner party there. It was our goal to make our restaurant feel like an extension of our home – warm, cozy, elegant, with a lived-in feel and an old-world sensibility.
